Proximal Femur Nail (PFN) Plate

Indication: Proximal Femur Nail (PFN); is used for intramedullary stabilization of femoral neck, intertrochanteric and subtrochanteric fractures.

General Details: Proximal femur fractures account for up to 40% of osteoporotic fractures, and the annual number of cases in the elderly population is expected to reach 21.3 million. The anatomical design of the PFN supports fracture healing by optimizing both axial load sharing and rotational control.

Clinical Note: Early full weight-bearing is possible with the PFN, accelerating patient mobilization while reducing postoperative complications and bed-rest duration.
